Welcome to Sunny Garden Hub – a practical, no-nonsense guide to making the most of outdoor living in warm climates.

We’re a couple based in Hua Hin, Thailand, where the sun is generous, the garden is full of surprises, and the mosquitoes treat us like an all-you-can-eat buffet. When we moved into our new property we quickly realised that tropical garden life comes with its own unique set of challenges – and, like most, went searching online for any advice we could find… unfortunately, most of the advice seemed to be written by people who didn’t appear to have any actual hands-on experience.

So we decided to document what actually works.

Our guides are built from real experience – things we’ve tried, tested, and occasionally cursed at in our own garden. We’re not professional horticulturalists or pest control experts. We’re just two people who spend a lot of time outdoors, hate getting bitten (more than you can imagine), and genuinely enjoy figuring out how to make a garden thrive in the heat.

We’ll cover everything from keeping mosquitoes at bay naturally, to growing things in tropical conditions, to making outdoor spaces genuinely enjoyable year round. As our garden grows – and as rainy season arrives to throw everything at us – so will this site.
